These are adjectives frequently used to describe the training and speaking skills of Dr. Kathleen Begley, founder of Write Company Plus communications training.

 

The author of seven books, Dr. Begley knew her calling at an early age. In third grade, she won her first writing contest. At age 17, she spoke to an audience of more than 3,000 people. At age 28, she had her first book published by the prestigious Putnam Publishing Group in New York City.

 

For the first part of her career, Dr. Begley was an award-winning journalist. She worked for a variety of different media, including newspapers, television, and magazines. Among her employers were the Seattle Times, PBS Television, and Tampa Magazine.

 

Since becoming a full-time speaker, Dr. Begley has worked with more than 20,000 people at the majority of Fortune 500 companies. She has spoken in every state except Alaska as well as in Europe, Asia, and South America. She has designed more than 20 different programs.

 

The daughter of immigrants, Dr. Begley has a special affinity for professionals who have English as a foreign language (EFL) and other diversity-rich audiences. In addition, she is highly skilled presenting the intricacies of writing in humorous, fast-paced way. As a woman, she also enjoys speaking to female executives and entrepreneurs.

 

Dr. Begley has degrees from three institutions of higher learning. They are Temple University, Villanova University, and Wilmington University. As part of her doctoral dissertation, she did a practicum on the best ways to teach adults.
